Jim Burns, Ph.D., is president of HomeWord and the host of HomeWord with Jim Burns, a daily radio program based out of San Juan Capistrano, California. His passion is communicating practical truths to help people live out their Christan lives. A renowned author and speaker, Jim most recently authored Confident Parenting and Creating an Intimate Marriage.

Marvin Charles: Strengthening the Low-Income Family from the Urban Perspective

Marvin and Jeanett Charles, founders of Divene Alternatives for Dads Service in Seattle Washington, help men who are disconnected from their children discover the gift of fathering. Marvin speaks to individuals and groups about the need for each father to take responsibility for his actions, to focus on the child's needs, and to use his faith in order to find a path home to the hurting child.

Emerson Eggerichs: God's Work to the Church on Marriage: Love and Respect

Excited and burdened about male and female communication, Emerson Eggerichs launched Love and Respect Ministries in August , 1999 to serve husbands and wives. He was awarded this master of divinity from Dubuque Seminary and later
earned is Ph.D. from Michigan State University in child and family ecology. Emerson also served as senior pastor for East Lansing Trinity Church from 1980 to 1999.

Michelle Anthony: The Dynamics of Family Ministry in the Church

Michelle Anthony serves as the director of family minsitry at ROCKHARBOR church in Costa Mesa, California. She provides leadership and care in the area of children's, youth, and family ministries. Michelle holds her B.A. and M.A. in Christian education with an emphasis in Bible and theology, and her doctorate in educational leadership.
