April 30 - May 3, 2024

The Boone Center for the Family at Pepperdine is a relationship training and resource center. Focusing on the relational and spiritual development of young adults, married couples, and individuals, the Boone Center offers specialized programming for young adults, professionals, and communities of faith to strengthen their own relationships and impact the lives of those they serve.

The Boone Center for the Family will offer four lectures at Harbor 2024:

  • Wednesday, May 1 at 9-9:45am in Payson Library - Surfboard Room: Dr. Kelly Haer, Boone Center for the Family's Executive Director, and Dr. Dee Dee Mayer, Boone Center's Senior Director of RelateStrong, will present on "RelateForward: Equipping Families for Generations of Faith." 
  • Thursday, May 2 at 9-9:45am in Payson Library - Surfboard Room, Dr. John Philip Louis and Karen McDonald Louis, will present on "Ephesians 6:4 - Exasperation vs. Nurturing."
  • Thursday, May 2 at 2-4:00pm in Appleby Center - AC263, Dr. Dee Dee Mayer, Boone Center's Senior Director of RelateStrong, will present on "Helping Marriages Flourish."
  • Friday, May 3 at 9-9:45am in Payson Library - Surfboard Room, Dr. Dori Lansbach, Boone Center's Assistant Director of Relationship IQ, will present on "Preparing for Conversations About Sex with Young Adults."
